Indian Wildlife is very rich in Flora & Fauna. Tiger is among the most popular Wild Species & lot, one of the world’s most beautiful animals, faces extinction today. In this century alone, three sub species of tigers have been driven to extinction. Today there are 23 Tiger reserves in India & around 3500-4000 tigers in the wilds which is more than all the other species of tigers in the world (tame & wild) put together. India is one of the very few countries in the world where you can still see a tiger in the wilds.

The rich and fascinating variety of India's wildlife can be seen in the 80 national parks, 440 sanctuaries and 23 tiger reserves established by the Government of India in an attempt to conserve this vital resource. More than 500 species of mammals, 1,220 species of birds, 1,600 species of reptiles and amphibians, and 57, 000 species of insects populate the subcontinent. India harbours 60% of the world's wild tiger population, 50% of Asian elephants, 80% of the one-horned rhinoceros and the entire remaining population of the Asiatic lion.

In This Tour, we visit Places like Delhi, Jaipur, Ranthambore, Agra, Khajuraho, Bandhavgarh, Kanha & Mumbai.

Delhi, being the capital and also a historical city of India, has a lot to offer. The most popular tourist spots of Delhi include Qutab Minar, Red Fort, Bahai Temple, India Gate and many more.

Jaipur is the next destination of this Tour. A city like Jaipur, where modernity and traditions live hand-in-hand, is truly rare. Perhaps this is what makes it an attractive destination for tourists who flock to Jaipur , year after year. The lively spirit of fanfare, festivity and celebration adequately matches the colourful and intricately carved monuments. Even today, one can find weather beaten faces with huge coloufrul turbans, moustaches that signify pride and lips that spontaneously crease into a heart warming smile.

Ranthambore is the first Wildlife destination we cover in this tour. Ranthambore National Park is an outstanding example of Project Tiger's efforts at conservation in the country. The forests around the Ranthambore Fort were once the private hunting grounds of the Maharajas of Jaipur. The desire to preserve the game in these forests for sport was responsible for their conservation and subsequent rescue by Project Tiger. Chital, nilgai, and chinkara, are the other inhabitants of the region. The avian population comprises of black storks, quails, Bonelli's eagles, spur fowls, crested serpent eagles and painted storks. During the winter months, the Park attracts a lot of migratory birds, primarily a variety of ducks

From Ranthambore, the Tour reaches Agra - A city known for the famous monument of love - the Taj mahal. Taj was constructed by the Mughal Emperor, Shah Jehan. It is said he built this monument in the memory of his beloved wife Mumtaj Mahal. The Taj Mahal is ethereal at any part of the day - blushing in the rosy glow of dawn or sunset , appearing like a pearly mirage in the moonlight or reflected in the pools of the garden . Perhaps the most moving view of the Taj is from an octagonal tower in the Agra Fort further along the river Yamuna . It was here that the emperor Shah Jehan was imprisoned and where he spent his last days gazing at the tomb of his beloved. Other important places in Agra include the Red Fort, Sikandara and Fatehpur Sikri.

Khajuraho is the next destination that we visit. The Erotic Sculptures & temples of Khajuraho are India's unique gift to the world, representing, as they do, a paean to life, love & joy; perfect in execution and sublime in expression. Life, in every form and mood, has been capured in stone, testifying not only to the craftsman's artistry but also to the extraordinary breadth of vision of the Chandela Rajputs under whose rule the temples were conceived and constructed. The world renowned temple town of Khajuraho in Madhya Pradesh designated by UNESCO as a world heritage site for its archaeological and historical monuments. The Khajuraho temples were built in the short span of about hundred years, from 950-1050AD in a truly inspired burst of creativity. Of the 85 original temples, 22 have survived till today to constitute one of the world's great artistic wonders.

Bandhavgarh is a small National Park; compact, yet full of game. The density of the tiger population at Bandhavgarh is the highest known in India. This is also white Tiger country. These have been found in the old state of Rewa for many years. The last known was captured by maharaja Martand Singh in 1951 . This White tiger, Mohun, is now stuffed and on display in the Palace of the Maharaja of Rewa.

The Kanha National Park, in Madhya Pradesh, forms the core of the Kanha Tiger Reserve created in 1974, under Project Tiger. Stretching over 940 sq km, the vegetation, chiefly made of sal and bamboo forests, grasslands and streams, this park is the sole habitat of the rare hardground barasingha.
