Delhi, being the capital and also a historical city of India, has a lot to offer. The most popular tourist spots of Delhi include Qutab Minar, Red Fort, Bahai Temple, India Gate and many more. Agra - A city known for the famous monument of love - the Taj mahal. Taj was constructed by the Mughal Emperor, Shah Jehan. It is said he built this monument in the memory of his beloved wife Mumtaj Mahal. The Taj Mahal is ethereal at any part of the day - blushing in the rosy glow of dawn or sunset, appearing like a pearly mirage in the moonlight or reflected in the pools of the garden . Perhaps the most moving view of the Taj is from an octagonal tower in the Agra Fort further along the river Yamuna . It was here that the emperor Shah Jehan was imprisoned and where he spent his last days gazing at the tomb of his beloved. Other important places in Agra include the Red Fort, Sikandara and Fatehpur Sikri. Jaipur is the next destination of this Tour. A city like Jaipur, where modernity and traditions live hand-in-hand, is truly rare. Perhaps this is what makes it an attractive destination for tourists who flock to Jaipur , year after year. The lively spirit of fanfare, festivity and celebration adequately matches the colourful and intricately carved monuments. Even today, one can find weather beaten faces with huge coloufrul turbans, savage moustaches and lips that spontaneously crease into a heart warming smile. Jodhpur, the Blue City, is the next destination & is located at the edge of the Thar desert and is the largest city in Rajasthan after Jaipur. The city is dominated by a massive fort, topping a sheer rocky ridge right in the middle of the town. Jodhpur was founded in 1459 by Rao Jodha, a chief of the Rajput clan known as the Rathores. His descendants ruled not only Jodhpur, but also other Rajput princely states. Udaipur, the City of Lakes is the next destination of our journey. In Udaipur, the Visitor finds his dream of India come true for the city that combines real beauty with picturesque associations of a great and glorious past.
